Freedom Comes from Letting Go of Public Approval – Pastor Enoch

Pastor Enoch has called on his congregation to break free from the desire for public approval, emphasizing that true freedom is found when one no longer seeks validation from others. In a compelling sermon this week, he compared the quiet resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ to how many people live their lives today.

“It’s a pity for all your life to believe, to please people,” Pastor Enoch said during the sermon. “The day you learn to separate yourself from public approval, you will truly be free. Many people live their lives thinking only about what others will say about them.”

He went on to reflect on the life of Jesus, pointing out how his resurrection was handled with humility and peace. “I always think about Jesus Christ. How did you resurrect from the dead and ascend so quietly into heaven?” he asked. “I can’t do it, though. I can’t take a whole resurrection without making a statement. If it were me, I would walk through the town, proclaiming, ‘I’m back. You don’t know about me. I’m back.'”

Pastor Enoch continued, noting that Jesus’ quiet ascension was a powerful demonstration of his purpose. “Jesus didn’t need to prove a point. He wasn’t interested in pleasing anyone, and that’s what made him truly powerful.”

His words encouraged his followers to find strength in their own purpose and not rely on external approval. “At this time, remember, he can pass through the wall,” he added, emphasizing that true strength and freedom come from living with purpose. “No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper, because true freedom comes when you no longer seek approval from others.”
