Gospel singer Joyce Blessing has thrown her support behind King Paluta in the race for the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Artiste of the Year.
According to her, the Kumasi-based secular artiste has put in tremendous effort over the past year and is deserving of the prestigious award.
In an interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime’s ‘Changes’, Joyce Blessing expressed confidence in King Paluta’s impact and the support of Ghanaians. However, she also hinted at concerns that unforeseen circumstances could prevent him from winning.
“Everybody knows King Paluta has done well and deserves the award, but with the way things are going, we can’t be sure if he’ll get it or not—because this is Ghana, anything can happen,” she remarked.
The gospel songstress recently collaborated with King Paluta on a song titled ‘Correct’, praising his exceptional performance on the track.
In addition to King Paluta, Joyce Blessing is also backing gospel group Team Eternity for the award, should King Paluta not win, as she believes they have equally worked hard.
Other nominees for the 2025 TGMA Artiste of the Year include Kweku Smoke, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, King Promise, and Black Sherif.
