Duncan-Williams Shares Emotional Account of 40-year-old Virgin

Founder of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has shared the emotional account of a 40-year-old woman whose life took an unexpected turn following a medical crisis that left her unable to bear children.

Speaking to his congregation, Pastor Duncan-Williams explained, “I met a lady in London… She’s 40 years and she’s a virgin. Quite recently, she got into a very serious relationship, and everything was working.” Unfortunately, her situation changed dramatically when she was rushed to the hospital and required surgery that led to the removal of her womb. “The man she wants to marry wants a child… So, that is the end of the relationship.”

Despite the heartbreak, Archbishop Duncan-Williams urged the woman and others in similar circumstances to maintain hope, saying, “God has another man for you who doesn’t want children… If one door is shut, God also has another door open for you.” He highlighted that life’s challenges often lead to greater purposes.

Quoting scripture, he reminded the congregation, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous… but the Lord shall deliver you out of them all,” encouraging them to trust in God’s “timely intervention.”
