Gospel musician and preacher, Dr. Sonnie Badu, has shared a heartfelt message with actor and politician John Dumelo following the loss of his parents and offers prayers.
In a post made on Instagram recently, Dr. Badu admitted that it was emotionally challenging for him to perform at the funeral but considered it a privilege to sing some of John Dumelo’s late father’s favorite songs.
“To my brother, the honorable @johndumelo1, it was quite tough for me to stand at the same spot and minister; however, it was a great honor to sing some of Daddy’s favorite songs,” he stated.
He went on to pray for God’s protection over Dumelo’s family, hoping that such a sorrowful gathering would not happen again anytime soon.
“Honorable, this is my prayer for you: this will be the last time in a very long while that we come together for this purpose. I pray for God to protect your family from all evil,” he added.
Dr. Badu also added that his late parents would be proud of him. “Mum and Dad are surely smiling at you because you have made them proud. I love you, brother!” he affirmed.
