Apostle Michael Orokpo has shared an inspiring message on the significance of grace, urging believers to recognize it as a powerful force that allows them to dominate in life. During his sermon, he emphasized that grace is not just about gaining knowledge but a divine empowerment to overcome challenges and succeed in every area of life.
He began by referencing John 1:1 and 14: “In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” He explained that when people receive the Word, they are actually receiving grace itself. “When you receive the Word, you are not receiving letters, you are receiving grace,” he said.
According to him, grace empowers individuals to move beyond the ordinary. He quoted Romans 5:17, which speaks of the “abundance of grace,” asserting that this grace enables believers to reign in life. “Grace comes to make you reign in life,” he stated, urging the congregation to embrace their newfound authority. “No one, not one of us here is permitted to live like a beggar. Everyone has been established in authority and dominion,” he added.
The apostle explained that grace brings power, making everything believers do more effective. “When you carry grace, your work carries power. When you talk, things happen,” he declared. He encouraged the congregation to believe that their words could bring transformation.
He also stressed the ongoing nature of grace, urging believers to continually draw more grace into their lives. “You didn’t just increase your biblical literacy, when you come for a service like this, you apprehend more grace,” he said. He likened the experience of receiving grace to connecting with a powerful current, saying, “Your hair might stand up as you hear the Word.” He explained that grace brings not just spiritual knowledge but actual empowerment. “When grace enters, it’s time to reign,” he affirmed.
In his prophetic declaration, he encouraged those facing various difficulties, whether in health, finances, or relationships, to rely on grace. “Every crisis you entered here with, they go down now,” he proclaimed, reassuring the congregation that grace has the power to change any situation.
He concluded by reminding believers that as they continue to embrace grace, they will not only overcome challenges but also attract favor and success. “Gentiles come to your light, but kings come to the brightness of your rising,” he said, urging everyone to keep receiving grace for transformation in every aspect of their lives.
