The Very Rev. Clara Joyce Danquah is an ordained minister of the Methodist Church Ghana. She received a diploma and a bachelor’s degree in theology from Trinity Theological Seminary, where she began her training as a minister. She received her master’s degree in leadership from Manchester University in the United Kingdom, and she has pursued a doctorate at Asbury Theological Seminary in the United States, where she studied church management and leadership. She has graduated from the Swedish Theological Institute in Jerusalem, Israel, with a Certificate in Comparative Religion.
She has worked as a pastor in Takoradi Bethel society,Mount Olivet,Wesley Cathedral Kumasi and currently at Calvary Methodist Church,Adabraka. She has been a Conference and Expanded GPC member of the Methodist Church Ghana since 2010. In 2016, she was chosen as an African representative for a Global course on religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence in Geneva, Switzerland, organized by the World Council of Churches and the United Nations Human Rights Organization. She has spoken at a number of leadership conferences and seminars.
