Prophet Nanasei Urges Vigilance Against Spiritual Attacks

In a compelling sermon, Prophet Nanasei Opoku Sarkodie advised his congregation to remain alert to spiritual attacks in their daily lives, particularly in workplaces and communities. “Don’t just take things for granted,” he cautioned, emphasizing the constant struggle between light and darkness. “Yes, darkness hates anything that is light. So don’t sit and deceive yourself that in the office they like you. They may be laughing with you, but they don’t wish you were there.”

Reflecting on his childhood in Akyem Oda, Prophet Sarkodie shared his experiences with secret societies, noting how they were once covert but have now become more open and influential. “I remember our landlord was a lodge member, and those days it was a secret society. Today, occult people are standing there openly talking about who they are,” he said.

The prophet also stressed the importance of spiritual awareness, criticizing what he called spiritual laziness among believers. “There’s a reason why God cannot defend you because of your spiritual laziness. You are sitting in the office, and the person behind you wishes you were dead so they could take your position,” he warned.

He pointed out that insecurity also exists among those in higher positions, with some fearing the rise of others who carry divine light. “Both right and back, you’re under attack,” he emphasized. He further explained the possible origins of sudden health issues, stating, “So you suddenly go to the hospital, and they give you a check-up, and they say you have this sickness. What is it coming from? It’s an arrow.”
