Rev. Eastwood Encourages Couples to Uphold Marital Faithfulness

Renowned preacher Rev. Eastwood Anaba has called on couples to cherish and uphold the sanctity of their marriages, urging them to remain faithful to their vows. In a heartfelt sermon, he warned against normalizing adultery and fornication, stressing their destructive impact on relationships and individuals.

Quoting Hebrews 13:4, Rev. Anaba reminded the congregation, “Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” He urged couples to strive for long-lasting and faithful unions. “You want to be married for 37 years, 40 years, 50 years, and still be able to look your wife in the eye and say, ‘Since I married you, I never knew another man or woman,’” he said.

Rev. Anaba criticized the casual way society refers to adultery, calling it a dangerous trend. “These days, adultery has become so cheap because we give it a cheap name to make it look acceptable. We call adultery ‘cheating.’ It’s not cheating; it’s an abomination,” he declared.

He went on to highlight the severe emotional and physical harm caused by infidelity. “Fornication and adultery can kill somebody. Discovering that your spouse has been unfaithful can send you to an early grave. It’s not cheating—it’s adultery, fornication, abomination. Don’t give it a nice name to make it seem acceptable,” he emphasized.

In his closing remarks, Rev. Anaba encouraged couples to remain true to their commitments and honor their marriage vows. “Honor your marriage,” he urged, reminding them of the sacredness of their union.
