Apostle Michael Orokpo, a prominent preacher, has pointed out that life’s struggles often result from a lack of understanding and revelation of Christ. In a recent sermon, he emphasized, “If we struggle, we struggle because Christ has not been revealed, the world has not been taught.”
He explained that relying solely on human willpower cannot lead to transformation. “Your will can help you, but only the truth of Christ will help you,” Orokpo remarked. He highlighted the importance of mind renewal, stating, “If your mind is renewed, you will remove the old man and be clothed with the new man who after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
While encouraging believers to pursue their careers and personal ambitions, Apostle Orokpo cautioned them to keep Christ at the center. “Be relevant in this life, but if anything takes the place of Christ in you, you are lost,” he warned.
Apostle Orokpo concluded by noting that many personal struggles, including immorality and dishonesty, stem from the absence of Christ in people’s lives. “That’s why you struggle with masturbation, fornication, and lying. When Christ is revealed, everything will give way like packs of cards,” he asserted, underscoring the power of Christ’s revelation in overcoming challenges.
His message calls on believers to prioritize their relationship with Christ for lasting victory over life’s difficulties.
