In an inspiring message, Bishop Agyin Asare has opened up about his path into ministry, shaped by personal faith and divine guidance rather than visions. Unlike others who have claimed to witness Jesus firsthand, he explained his journey was one of deep conviction rather than extraordinary encounters. “I didn’t wait for ministry to come to me,” he declared, “I took what belonged to me.”
He reflected on friends who had experienced powerful, supernatural moments. “Some of them, when Jesus appeared, the room became very bright, and they were shaking all over,” he shared, describing the impact of these encounters. In contrast, he confessed that he had not seen Jesus in person. “Me, I haven’t seen Jesus appear to me before,” he said, “but some of my friends at that time—Kai!—he just appeared to them.”
He explained that hearing Jesus’s voice and finding affirmation in scripture guided him to his purpose. “I had heard His voice, and the words I heard—they were in the scriptures. To confirm it, I went,” he recounted, underscoring his faith as rooted in scripture rather than in visions.
As he concluded, he urged believers to embrace their faith boldly. “You must take what belongs to you,” he encouraged, inspiring his listeners to claim their spiritual inheritance with confidence, just as he had done.
