Dr. Cynthia James Calls for Resilience and Faith Amid Challenges

Dr. Cynthia James has delivered an inspiring message about personal strength and faith, urging her audience to stand firm in the face of adversity. She highlighted the importance of embracing diversity, saying, “When we have a future, we don’t ostracize people because we don’t think the same way they do” and emphasized that it’s crucial to respect others’ choices, even when they differ from our own.

According to Dr. James, true hope lies in the belief that “our future is in Christ because he is the same yesterday, today and forevermore.” She encouraged her listeners to remind themselves daily, “I have a future. I can’t be too upset about yesterday. I can’t be overwhelmed by the day because I have a future.”

She further emphasized the importance of taking action and standing tall, stating, “I have to look up, I have to straighten up. I have to speak up. I have to be forceful up because heaven suffers violence and the violence taken by storm.” Dr. James pointed out that strength comes from within, regardless of one’s background, as “it didn’t say the younger, it didn’t say they educated. It didn’t say the good looking. It’s at the violence.”

Dr. James compared the power of faith to a weapon, explaining, “What is violent is that I got a 2-inch sword. What’s valid is that the word is like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces.” She further stressed that the divine power within each person is unmatched, quoting, “He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.”

In her closing remarks, Dr. James challenged her audience not to be held back by any external forces: “Don’t allow anything—circumstances, people, politics, economics—to push you back, to hold your head down, to be broken, to be tied up. If the ox can be free, so can I.” Her words served as a call to action, inspiring everyone to embrace their future with confidence and faith.
