Joel Osteen Encourages Letting Go of Unhealthy Relationships

In his latest sermon, popular pastor Joel Osteen has urged his audience to stop trying to convince others to remain in their lives, especially those who fail to see their true value. Osteen stressed the importance of self-respect and the belief in divine connections.

“We spend too much time trying to convince people to stay in,” he shared with the congregation. “You have to move on with your life. Don’t waste another minute trying to convince someone to love you, call you, or come see you.”

He further emphasized the need to avoid relationships where one is not valued, stating, “You are a gift, you are a treasure, a prize possession. If someone doesn’t recognize your value and doesn’t treat you like the masterpiece that you are, that’s a sign that the season has changed.”

He encouraged listeners to let go of those who don’t appreciate them, reminding them that God has already planned better relationships. “God has already ordained divine connections for you. People who can’t live without you, who love being with you, and can’t wait to see you,” he said. “Sometimes, the reason we aren’t seeing these people is because we’re holding on to the wrong ones.”

His words resonated deeply with those facing challenges in relationships, encouraging them to embrace new, meaningful connections by letting go of what no longer serves them.
