Pastor Femi Lazarus recently delivered a compelling message, urging believers to “charge up” in the Holy Ghost and embrace the power of intercessory prayer to navigate the challenges of the world.
“Believers, learn to charge. Charge yourselves up in the Holy Ghost,” Pastor Lazarus told the congregation. “It takes power to navigate the wickedness of our world.”
He pointed out that many believers have been protected by prayers they never knew were being said on their behalf, particularly those from their mothers. “Some of you have mothers crying at night, praying that their children won’t fall into the traps of the enemy,” he shared. “There’s someone crying somewhere for you, saying, ‘Not my son, this pattern will not come again.'”
Pastor Lazarus explained the vital role of prayer as a spiritual weapon. “When we pray, we’re channeling forces to where the battle is,” he said. “We’re winning where we should win, and we’re launching our missiles at the enemy.”
He also warned of the dangers of ceasing to pray. “Once you stop praying, you might begin to notice a different level of attack,” he cautioned. “In this kingdom, 100% peace could be a sign you’re not engaging in spiritual warfare.”
He concluded by emphasizing that prayer is essential for confronting the devil and that this spiritual battle will provoke a reaction. “As we begin to touch the devil with us, there’s a reaction, and we will rage,” he said, encouraging believers to continue their prayers.
