Prominent televangelist Evangelist Benny Hinn has highlighted the importance of biblical prophecy, asserting that it serves as clear evidence of God’s divine message. In a post made on March 5, 2025 on Instagram, he emphasized the authority of scripture, pointing out that prophecy distinguishes the Bible from other religious texts.
“God is speaking straight to us through His word,” He stated, emphasizing the frequency of divine communication in scripture. “In the Old Covenant alone, it says ‘God said’ 3,800 times, and prophecy confirms the Bible.”
He described prophecy as one of the most remarkable aspects of the Bible, underscoring its significance. “This is one of the greatest things that you can even talk about—prophecy,” he noted, adding, “2,500 prophecies are in the Bible.”
Drawing a contrast between Christianity and other faiths, He claimed that prophecy is unique to the Bible. “Other religions have no prophecies in their books whatsoever,” he said, stressing that no other religious texts contain similar predictive revelations.
He also pointed to the fulfillment of biblical prophecies as further validation of scripture’s authenticity. “Two thousand of them have been fulfilled,” he declared, reinforcing his belief that the Bible’s accuracy and divine inspiration remain undeniable.
