Stephanie Ike Emphasizes God’s Timing in Fulfilling One’s Calling

Renowned preacher and author Pastor Stephanie Ike has emphasized the importance of preparation before stepping into one’s divine calling, stating that God does not rush individuals into their purpose.

Pastor Ike said during a recent sermon posted on Instagram, “The Lord is never in a hurry to send you anywhere. The Lord is never in a hurry to have you reflect His glory,” urging believers to embrace the process of spiritual growth.

She explained that while God may reveal a person’s calling early on, they are not immediately sent out to fulfill it. “If you encounter the Lord yesterday, He may reveal to you the call of God on your life, but He’s not sending you out tomorrow,” she noted.

According to her, God first works on an individual’s inner being before assigning them to a mission. “Before the Lord will build on you, He first has to build you—the person,” she stressed, adding, “He has to touch, work on your heart. He has to develop your character.”

Pastor Ike assured that God does not abandon His people to face challenges unprepared. “He’s not just going to throw you out there into the wolves. No, He builds you,” she affirmed.

Her message underscores the necessity of patience and character development as key elements in fulfilling one’s divine purpose.
