Dr. Boadi Nyamekye Encourages Proactive Living for Success

Renowned Ghanaian pastor, Dr. Michael Boadi Nyamekye has urged individuals to take charge of their lives by actively pursuing their goals rather than waiting for opportunities to come to them.

During a recent sermon, he talked about the importance of wisdom and initiative, he highlighted that success belongs to those who take action. “People who walk in wisdom, they are actors,” he stated, emphasizing that such individuals do not embrace laziness or procrastination. “They are not lazy, they are not laid back, they do not procrastinate, they do not sit back and wait for things to happen.”

He encouraged people to be intentional about shaping their lives instead of merely reacting to circumstances. “If you want to apply your heart to wisdom, do not allow things to happen to you, rather happen to things,” he advised.

Dr. Nyamekye further called for immediate action, stressing the need to make a difference. “Go out there and make the difference. Take the action. You have to move and act,” he urged, instructing his audience to reinforce the message by telling someone, “Act.”

He reiterated that true impact and influence are achieved through active participation in life’s opportunities. “If you are going to be influential, if you are going to be powerful, if you are going to make impact, if you are going to make indelible prints in the Sands of Time, if you are going to make inroads in life, you have to be an actor and not a spectator,” he emphasized.
