Renowned Christian speaker and author Priscilla Shirer has highlighted the significance of divine favour in elevating individuals beyond their qualifications or connections. She explained that favour is what grants people access to opportunities beyond human control.
“Favour is what puts you in places you know you have no business being in. Favour is what sets you in positions that you know you aren’t qualified for,” Shirer stated, emphasizing that God’s hand opens doors that cannot be shut.
She further noted that divine favour ensures people are strategically positioned to fulfill their God-given purpose. “Favour is what makes it so that you are exactly where you’re supposed to be to accomplish exactly what it is that God has set for you to accomplish,” she added.
Shirer reassured those who feel unqualified due to a lack of formal education or professional networks, stressing that God’s favour overrides human limitations. “It’s what qualifies you when you don’t have the degree, you don’t have the diploma, you don’t have the connections. You’re just where God has opened up a door for you to be,” she affirmed.
She also pointed out that opposition cannot remove those whom God has placed in specific positions. “Even though people talk badly about you or try to push you out of that place, you cannot be moved, not because you manufactured your way there, but because God’s Spirit has placed you there,” she declared.
Concluding her message, Shirer emphasized that divine favour eliminates the need for self-promotion. “God’s Spirit on your life is what makes it so that you don’t have to market yourself because you’ve already been marked by the presence of—Oh my God,” she exclaimed, drawing applause from the audience.
