Apostle Arome Osayi Says Marriage Classes Are Unnecessary

Apostle Arome Osayi has emphasized that a strong Christian foundation is all that is needed for a successful marriage, rejecting the notion that extra wisdom or special marriage classes are required. Speaking on the role of faith in relationships, he urged believers to focus on their alignment with God.

“The other day, someone came and asked me, ‘What is the wisdom by which you lived with your wife all these days?'” he shared. “Are you a Christian? There’s no wisdom. The thing is, be a proper Christian that is under the government of the Holy Spirit, and you will discover that marriage classes are not an extra class.”

He explained that walking with God naturally shapes a thriving marriage. “Relating with God, receiving from God, and functioning like God is enough,” he said. “Your marriage will be an illustration of your alignment and compatibility with God.”

Apostle Osayi also pointed out that if a marriage fails, it is not because Jesus cannot sustain it, but rather a lack of connection to divine grace. “Jesus cannot be married and the marriage fails. There is a grace he has, and I need to find it,” he concluded.

His message underscores the belief that true Christian living, rather than external marriage teachings, is the key to a lasting union.
