Apostle Selman – Discipline Is Key to Fulfilling Destiny

Apostle Joshua Selman, a well-known preacher and teacher, has urged believers to embrace discipline, focus, and endurance as essential elements in realizing their God-given destinies. In a recent sermon, he emphasized the crucial role of the “Law of Process” in preparing individuals for divine recognition.

“There is no glorious destiny for anyone who compromises on the importance of discipline and focus,” he shared, referencing Isaiah 50:7, which stresses unwavering determination in difficult times.

He cautioned that a lack of discipline and distractions could derail even the most promising paths. “You must learn to discard not only sin but also unnecessary burdens—anything that doesn’t serve your journey,” he explained, citing Hebrews 12:1 to highlight the need to remove even the good things that aren’t beneficial for one’s destiny.

When talking about endurance, Apostle Selman defined it as “the ability to withstand pain and pressure while staying focused.” He referenced James 1:2-4 to encourage the congregation to view challenges as opportunities for growth. “Without endurance, even if you have all other qualities, you will still fail to fulfill your destiny,” he warned.

Apostle Selman also discussed the “Law of Process,” illustrating its significance with Mark 4:26-32. “Greatness develops gradually—first the blade, then the ear, and eventually the full corn,” he explained, emphasizing the slow yet steady nature of divine progression.

He concluded by stressing the importance of being tested and proven before receiving God’s honor. Quoting Deuteronomy 8:11, he reminded the audience, “You must be tested and proven to be entrusted with God’s purpose for your life.”

The sermon had a profound impact on the congregation and online viewers, prompting a wave of prayer and introspection. “Lord, open my eyes for the sake of my destiny,” they prayed together, reaffirming their commitment to follow God’s principles.
