Siisi Baidoo Crowned Male Vocalist of the Year

Ghanaian gospel sensation Siisi Baidoo has clinched the prestigious title of Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2024 Praise Achievement Awards.

Siisi triumphed over a host of remarkable artistes, including Joe Mettle, Luigi Maclean, Kofi Owusu Peprah, Perez Musik, Kwaku Teye, Kyei Mensah, Carl Clottey, Nacee, Kobbe Mante, Michael Magnus Mensah, and TMC Musique, to secure this honor.

Renowned for his “rich music content and unrivaled vocal dexterity,” Siisi has carved a niche in the gospel music scene with hits like ‘Otim Ho Daa’, ‘Fire’, ‘Jesus in My Boat’, ‘Mede W’ayeyi’, and ‘Hymns of God’.

The awards ceremony, held on November 24, 2024, at the Perez Dome in Accra, brought together key figures from the gospel music and Christian community to celebrate excellence.

Other notable winners included Nacee, Piesie Esther, Queendalyn, Scott Evans, Lordina the Soprano, and Joe Mettle, among others.

The Praise Achievement Awards continues to honor “greatness and celebrate true excellence in gospel music,” recognizing contributions across music, creative arts, technical production, and ministry.
