Apostle Orokpo Calls on Christians to Discern God’s Signals

Apostle Michael Orokpo

During a recent sermon, Apostle Michael Orokpo has underscored that over 70% of God’s messages to believers come as impressions, signs, and inner urges rather than an audible voice. This, he said, often leaves Christians feeling spiritually disconnected. “Many Christians are confused because they are waiting for God to come and say, ‘Nathaniel.’ And then for a lifetime, they don’t hear it,” he stated. “They wonder, ‘How does God speak to people?’ They don’t know that a large percentage of His speaking are motions of life, impulses, transmitted through the Spirit.”

Apostle Orokpo introduced the concept of “Stenazo,” a spiritual prompting that moves believers to pray out of an awareness of their insufficiency. Reflecting on his own experience, he shared, “When I went to preach at the Redemption Camp… I discovered that my preparation wasn’t enough, and it was too late to go to my concordance. That impulse drove me to the bathroom to seek more utterance and accuracy. This was Stenazo at work.”

He further described “Embryo Mai,” an inner warning that guides believers away from mistakes. “There are things you want to say, and you sense judgment. If the Holy Ghost is alive in you, you’ll walk in accuracy,” he affirmed. Apostle Orokpo warned that disregarding these signals could have severe consequences, recalling his experience of ignoring “Tarasu,” a cautionary signal, before boarding a turbulent flight.

Encouraging believers to stay attuned to these divine impulses, he concluded, “If you don’t receive a note of victory before moving forward, you might find yourself relying only on God’s mercy.”
