Stephanie Ike has encouraged churchgoers to reconsider their roles within the church, stressing the importance of moving beyond passive attendance and criticism. She pointed out that many individuals often complain about changes in the church without realizing that they themselves are the solution.

“You are not just supposed to come to a church, sit down, receive a word, and pass it on to your friends,” Ike said. “It enriches your life, it transforms your life. But you do nothing for the soil.”

She emphasized that each person has a unique contribution to make to the church’s growth and longevity. “There is a unique expression that God has placed in you for the longevity of the soil,” she added, urging individuals to recognize that the changes they complain about are often the very areas where they can make a difference.
