Founder of Potters City, Prophet Nanasei Opoku Sarkodie has delivered a profound message about the transformative power of God’s presence. He stressed that when someone experiences the presence of God, their past mistakes are completely erased, allowing them to step into a prosperous future.
Referring to the “Obed-Edom blessing,” Prophet Nanasei remarked, *“When the presence of God visits you and you have an encounter, your past is erased. God doesn’t have a recorder. He does not record your sins to show them to you.”*The prophet further emphasized that in God’s sight, sins are not simply covered but entirely removed. *“The blood doesn’t cover sins, it wipes them off,”* he declared, encouraging believers not to let past failures stand in the way of their prosperity.
Using Apostle Paul as an example, he reminded the congregation that God does not take past mistakes into account when shaping their future. *“Paul said nobody is more a sinner than him, yet he wrote most of the New Testament. God will never consult your past to determine your future,”* he elaborated.
Prophet Nanasei also highlighted the necessity of taking personal initiative. He urged believers to act and work towards their goals instead of waiting passively. *“Don’t sit down and say God will do it. Start doing something for grace to back you up,”* he advised, particularly in areas like marriage and ministry.
The prophet reaffirmed that God’s presence not only erases the past but also reveals one’s destiny. *“In the presence of God, your future is revealed. You cannot sit in His presence and not know where you are going,”* he confidently declared.
