Renowned preacher and teacher, Apostle Joshua Selman, delivered an impactful sermon stressing the significance of discerning and navigating relationships with three specific groups of people who can obstruct one’s journey to fulfilling their destiny.
These groups were identified by Selman as wicked people, selfish people, and ignorant/naive people. He cautioned that individuals belonging to these groups, commonly present in different areas of life, can present significant obstacles to achieving one’s goals and aspirations.
In reference to wicked people, Selman referenced Proverbs 6:18 and Proverbs 4:14-17, highlighting their prevalent nature and the necessity for caution. He characterized them as individuals actively seeking to harm and disrupt the lives of others, often concealed in various forms.
Selman also addressed the perils of selfish people, emphasizing that although not inherently malevolent, they prioritize their own needs and desires over others. He emphasized that these individuals are frequently indifferent to the well-being of those around them, as long as they achieve their own objectives.
Lastly, Selman underscored the susceptibility of ignorant/naive people, lacking experience, maturity, and judgment, rendering them vulnerable to manipulation and deception. He cautioned that these individuals can easily be led astray, often becoming pawns in the designs of those with malicious intent.
Selman concluded by stressing the role of wicked people as Satan’s primary instrument for destruction, underscoring the importance of recognizing and avoiding these individuals in order to safeguard one’s spiritual and personal well-being.
