Prophet Nanasei Opoku Sarkodie has shared a powerful message, highlighting the struggle many face when God’s timing doesn’t align with personal expectations. He noted, “We have come to the place that as I travel over the world, I see that everybody has over expectation of what God must do for them. And sometimes when God doesn’t come at the time they expect, they get disappointed.” He explained that while God promises blessings, He doesn’t always reveal the timing, stating, “God promises going to bless us, but normally doesn’t tell us the time #2 we live in time, but God lives in eternity.”
Referencing the story of Abraham, who was promised descendants as numerous as the stars at 70 years old, the prophet reminded his congregation that God’s promises may take time to fulfill. “That God called a man his friend, and the man was 70 years ago. Say I’m going to make your descendants like the stars in the sky.” He further emphasized the importance of patience between God’s promise and its manifestation, adding, “What are you going to do between the time God spoke and the next 30 years?”
Prophet Sarkodie also warned against losing faith during periods of waiting, calling it a “spiritual suicide.” He explained, “You can come to church, you can worship, but your faith is gone.” He pointed out that Satan’s greatest attack is not on material possessions but on a believer’s faith: “The devil is so interested in your faith so you can be coming to church… but if your faith is not alive, there is nothing God can do.”
The prophet highlighted the impact of personal struggles on faith, noting, “You think the problem is your wife. It might not be your wife. The devil wants you to lose your faith.” He stressed that even if one loses everything, maintaining faith is crucial: “Whatever happens, keep your faith… you can lose your marriage, your job, your finances… but make sure you don’t lose your faith.”
In conclusion, Prophet Sarkodie urged believers to prioritize faith above all, stating, “For you to get God’s attention, you must see faith.”
