Pressure Increases Value – Pastor Keion Henderson

Pastor Keion Henderson has delivered a powerful message during his sermon, using a relatable illustration to highlight the value of enduring life’s challenges.

“When you get to the grocery store, even if you don’t need them, two things I want you to buy: olives and olive oil,” he began, drawing attention to a deeper lesson. Pastor Henderson pointed out that while olives are less costly, the oil extracted from them carries a much higher price.

“I promise you, that olive oil is going to be more expensive than the olive. But everything that’s in the olive is in the oil. The only difference is the pressure,” he explained, emphasizing that it’s the process of pressure that increases value.

He encouraged his listeners to see their trials as a pathway to greater worth, saying, “If you’ve been through a whole lot this last year, it’s because God is trying to increase your value.”

Challenging his audience to set higher standards for the future, Pastor Henderson declared, “Next year’s price is not last year’s price. Next season’s price is not last season’s price. You can’t get in my life cheap next year.”

His words served as a motivational reminder that growth often comes through adversity, inspiring many to embrace their struggles with hope and resilience.
