Marie Bliss Urges ‘Giving Flowers’ to Loved Ones Before It’s Too Late

Marie Bliss

Marie Bliss, wife of gospel singer Moses Bliss, has recently shared a moving message emphasizing the value of honoring loved ones while they can still feel the appreciation. Reflecting on the recent Bliss Experience event in Abuja, she expressed gratitude for the event’s success, despite hurdles.

“Sometimes the only time people ‘give someone their flowers’ is when they are no more,” Marie wrote in a video caption on social media. She noted that words of admiration too often follow a loved one’s passing, taking the form of statements like, “they were…” and “I remember when they did this for me….” She continued, “While there is life to live, it is better we give those who we appreciate, love, and celebrate their flowers…so they can hear and know, before a time comes and everyone but them knows how grateful we were.”

The Bliss Experience, a highly anticipated gospel music event, attracted a diverse crowd and highlighted Moses Bliss’s influence in the industry. Marie attributed the event’s success to divine guidance, saying, “I give God the glory for bringing to completion the good work he started in [Bliss Experience] despite the opposition faced.”

She also expressed appreciation for her friend, Old Soul Eva, who helped organize a surprise element of the event. “Thank you to my bridesmaid @oldsouleva for being a kind and helpful friend. I’m very grateful! We were able to pull off the surprise in the end,” she shared.

In her post, Marie encouraged her followers to show gratitude and admiration to loved ones, friends, and mentors during their lifetime. Using the hashtag #givethemtheirflowers, she underscored that genuine honor lies in expressing appreciation now, rather than after it’s too late.
