Kamala Harris Emphasizes God’s Plan While Trump Calls Democrats ‘Demonic’

Kamala Harris

On the eve of the U.S. presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke at Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church of God in Christ in Detroit, encouraging congregants to find hope in God’s guidance. Reflecting on the biblical passage from Jeremiah 29:11, Harris shared a message of unity, reminding attendees of God’s promise for a future filled with hope and prosperity. “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future,'” she cited, urging the audience to trust in God’s plan during this pivotal time.

Addressing the importance of both faith and action, Harris emphasized the need for communities to move beyond prayer and take steps toward healing division. “It is not enough to only pray,” she said. “Not enough to just talk. We must act.” She spoke of Americans across all states, traditionally “red” and “blue,” who are eager to see positive change and justice in the country.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump, campaigning in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, voiced strong criticism of the Democratic Party. At a rally held at Lancaster Airport, he described the party as “demonic” and shared concerns about the legitimacy of the election. “It’s a very demonic party,” he claimed, though he clarified that most everyday Democrats still agreed with his viewpoints. He questioned the fairness of the election process, raising suspicions of potential fraud and revisiting previous claims of unwarranted scrutiny against him, including accusations of ties to Russia.

As voters headed to the polls on Tuesday, November 5, both candidates presented sharply contrasting messages. Harris’s focus on unity and action, coupled with Trump’s warnings of mistrust and fraud, set the stage for a highly anticipated and closely watched Election Day across the United States.
