Prophet Daniel Amoateng, founder and President of Power of Worship International, has delved into the reasons why enemies show up in a person’s life, by citing biblical examples to shed light on the issue.
“Some enemies hate you for no reason,” Prophet Amoateng said, citing Psalm 35:7 to explain how opposition can arise without provocation. “For no reason, they hid their net for me, they dug a pit to catch me,” he quoted, illustrating how people can face unjust hostility. He also referenced the Message Bible, which reads, “Out of sheer cussedness, they set a trap to catch me; for no good reason dug a ditch to stop me.”
He stressed the irrational nature of such enmity, saying, “At least if you want to stop me with a reason, I’ll ask you to go. But they are trying to stop you for no reason.” Encouraging his congregation, Prophet Amoateng declared, “Anybody here without a reason, who has mastered the courage to come after you, I dispatch an angel of warfare to go and fight and destroy their agenda.”
Prophet Amoateng further noted that some people harbor hatred out of fear of another’s future. “Some people hate you because they are afraid of your future.” His sermon was aimed at reassuring believers to rely on God’s protection in the face of unjust attacks, urging them to pray for divine intervention.
