In a message shared on Facebook today, pastor and motivational speaker Joel Osteen offered encouragement to parents whose children may have strayed from their spiritual path. Drawing from Proverbs, Osteen reminded his followers of the importance of instilling faith in children, stating, “Train up a child in the way that they should go and, in the end, they will not depart from it.”
Joel Osteen acknowledged that children might take wrong turns along the way but reassured parents that the faith they instilled remains within their children. “The promise is, in the end, they will not depart,” he emphasized, urging parents to remain patient and prayerful during difficult times.
“Keep believing, keep encouraging, keep praying,” Osteen advised, reminding parents that God knows how to guide their children back. He ended the post on a hopeful note, declaring, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
