Joel Osteen Encourages Letting Go of Those Who Leave

Joel Osteen

In a Facebook post shared earlier today, prominent pastor and motivational speaker Joel Osteen delivered a powerful message encouraging individuals to release those who have walked out of their lives and to trust God’s plan in their relationships. Osteen emphasized that personal destiny is not dependent on the people who leave or the things lost along the way.

“Your destiny is not tied to those who left you,” Osteen wrote. He reassured his audience that God doesn’t require what was lost to fulfill His purpose for their lives. Reflecting on the pain of betrayal or rejection, Osteen urged his followers to stop dwelling on the hurt or trying to win people back, affirming that “God closed the door” for a reason and that peace comes with accepting it.

Osteen’s message also encouraged a shift in perspective when it comes to relationships. “Quit trying to hold on to people who don’t want to be there,” he said, noting that it’s not necessary to chase after love, acceptance, or approval. Instead, he advised his readers to place their trust in God as their “doorkeeper,” believing that He will guide the right people into their lives.

The post has resonated with many of Osteen’s followers, as it offers a timely reminder of the importance of trusting God’s plan, especially in the face of relational disappointments.
