Founder of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has delivered a powerful message urging those experiencing rejection, shame, and hopelessness to cling to faith, proclaiming that they will rise once more.
Speaking to his congregation, the respected preacher acknowledged the harsh realities of life, where support can be hard to find.”When you look around you, nobody seems to be there for you. Those who you think can help don’t care about you,” Duncan-Williams observed. “They will not even receive your calls or return them.
You feel rejected, you feel mocked.”Despite these adversities, he encouraged the congregation to hold fast to hope and resilience, citing the Bible. “But the other day, the prophet said, ‘Oh my enemy, rejoice not over me, for when I fall, I will rise again,’” he declared, urging everyone to embrace their comeback. “I prophesy to somebody: you will rise again!”He also encouraged the crowd to spread this uplifting message. “Go to two people, tell them in the name of Jesus: you will rise again. If there’s nobody where you are, say it with your mouth, hear it with your ear, and rise again!”
Archbishop Duncan-Williams concluded his sermon with a strong affirmation, saying, “The Bible says when men are cast down, then shall thou say there is a lifting up. I announce to somebody there is a lifting up. My comeback will be greater than my setback!”
