The Assemblies of God in Ghana is set to host its 31st Biennial General Council Meeting from August 5 to 9, 2024. The event will take place at the C.K. Tedam University of Applied Sciences in Navrongo, running from Monday to Friday.
Under the theme “For Growth and Expansion, Send the Light” (Acts 10:38, 13:47), the meeting aims to foster growth and expansion within the church community. Key speakers for the event include Rev. Prof. Johnson Asamoah-Gyadu, President of Trinity Theological Seminary in Legon; Rev. Dominic Yeo, Chairman of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship; and Rev. Stephen V. Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana.
The council meeting will feature a variety of events, including cultural diversity celebrations, spiritual renewal and impartation sessions, business meetings, and leadership conferences. Family members of the Assemblies of God are joining in prayer for the success of this significant gathering.
